Amanda Newfield is a workforce learning and performance professional with over nine years of experience. She has worked for such organizations as the DM Petroleum Operations Company, Amedisys Inc., and the Louisiana Department of State Civil Service. Her experience includes vast knowledge across all levels of the workforce learning and performance industry including performance-based learning, competency management, workforce development, learning management system implementation and administration, learning program management, and e-learning design and development. Her professional interests include leadership and organizational development, succession planning, and process improvement. Amanda holds a bachelor’s from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master of Management degree.
Outside work, Amanda volunteers her time to her local chapter of American Society of Training and Development (ASTD-BR) where she currently manages the chapter’s website and serves as the Vice President of Technology. She also enjoys writing and reading. She’s been married for over ten years and has two children.
